LSD - Yishun dam - senkang compass pt 16.22km

Yes i agree i have been slacking lately, but i would also say that the weather for the past 2 days has not been good with slight monsoon. Anyway to make up for the lost mileage , decided to do a LSD this morning using the route taz pointed out from his blog.

Woke up 6am ,tried contacting jon but as usual he overslept.So i started moving out from my place about 645am reached the yishun stadium picked ws up and drove down to the start point at yishun dam. From there we changed into our gear and proceed down the dam to the seletar airport, thru the small track road into jalan kayu. Took a short break as ws need to get some mineral water. From there we proceed on to the small road leading to the LRT at sengkang (fernvale station sw4). From there run down to the canal and cross the bridge into sengkang town central. Had a break at the 7-11 store inside compass point shopping mall.

After about 10 mins break we carry on back to the dam. small incident thou.. while on the way back kinda got lost inside the seletar airport. Lotsa old colonial bungalows but that was just momentarily.

For our warm down i looked for the secret fishing pier at the dam after which we head down to yishun stadium for shower and breakfast at mcd .. yummy
