The wedding run - 8km -pierce reservoir

Had a 1st ever wedding run on saturday, the bride and groom to be is none other then alvo and meteor. Gosh they have been together forever ..ok ever since i joined sgrunners. So they decided to have a wedding run which is rather unique. The route is from Upper pierce reservoir to lower pierce reservoir and back (8km).

As with all wedding ceremony we decked the groom with milk tin cans dangling from his waist and "just married" sign on their back. The bride to be will be carrying a bouquet of flowers and a tiara on her head.



















Along the road for every tin can drop a game will commence. Such as answering question , doing salsa maneuver and the fiercest one.. piggy back the bride up the steep slope. As we reach the Lower pierce reservoir we had our watermelon cutting procession , drinks and not to mention the flower bouquet toss (which well kind of fell into the hands of bee, shes still deny catching it).
After which photographs of the couple was taken all over the park.















Well life is a long journey just like running and for them its a start of a brand new route!
