Thumbtack on my neck run - 13km of pain - yishun -- sembawang

Ok it literally means i was having stiff neck while running this LSD. Well if you thought that Stiff neck was not bad enough i have to endure smoke inhalation at the start of my run. Because of the special 15th day of the month , and they had to burn tons of paper along the road side.

Stopped a few times here and there because of the pain , could not lift up my head much and shoulder was kind stiff too.

Afew more days and i will be getting another pair of shoe and nimbus (1 year old on sept 8th) will be used only for short runs of 10km or less..

Adirun - tanjong rhu 8.75km

Meet Adirunners at suntec city last evening, the group was strong about 9 of us. stacy, fahmy, cfred, martin, su yin, michelle, alvo and one other lady.

Instead of a fast run me, alvo and cfred decide to take it easy and let the rest of the group run ahead. At the end of the run we just gamely tell them that they are really improving !

Looked at the adidas tempo shoe looks really nice, but i am not sure how the shoe would feel while running .. should i get it?

Run - Yishun heartland 10km

Feeling guilty with the sky cleared up (cloudy/slight drizzle) , i made my run around yishun about 10km. Road kills i see today are kind of strange.. a chicken , an exotic bird..

I reckon its time for me to change a new shoe hmm maybe a wave rider 10..did my fastest mile today.

Army Half marathon race pack

Well here it is race pack for the army half marathon. Unfortunately its not mine but cfred. Cause he is away for desaru triathlon , i volunteered to help him collect the race pack.

Hopefully no rain later, have not been able to do any LSD no thanks to the weather!

Adirun - singapore river 7.5km

Fast paced , SFD run thats how i describe this adirun, With couple of new guest appearance by DO, DR, Aerosolcan besides the usual crowd like stazla , alvo , cfred and fahmy.

The route we did was the esplanade park till the end of zion road. Some surprises along the way like the floating platform not open to public even though it has been cleared of the NDP stuff. The end of zion road was blocked due to construction.

Oh well still its a good run with plenty of chats in between..

Before heading back caught a sight of this match between the cat and a mouse..

Run - Yishun Dam 8.28km

Just another yishun dam run, but notice a fixed structure out in the open sea near the dam, its like a metal kelong. but i bet its for fishing purpose. or is it a guard post to shoot illegal immigrant try to swim to shore? hmmm

TLR wedding run

Oh man.. Its raining now. That's what greeted me the moment I woke up. So I check with tiwazz. He say worst case no run just makan. Today is the wedding run of TLR and FD.

So hurriedly pack my bag and headed down to meet with the rest. Those who came are ai chai, rontgeon, kj, junie, , tiwazz , sv , alvo and meteor. TLR being the target came late.

We tired cans and balloon around his waist .plus plastered him with the just married sign . The run was around clementi and holland v. About 8 km route as the previous route does not have the audience impact. At the end point FD greeted TLR for his hardwork and we all headed down to the coffeeshop for drinks and breakfast. Our hardwork does not end here, we made our way to the clementi swimming complex for 10 laps of the pool too. Gentle was there already did some 15laps while waiting for us.

We had a lot of fun photographing and video him. Amid the humiliation i hop he did enjoy it.

Yishun -Sembawang 12.35km

Yesterday , did a LSD of 12 over km run from yishun - sembawang park - kings ave - woodlands road -sembawang road.

Feels good after a long break , but still slightly sore over my calfs must be of my ippt. on a side note , did not manage to sign up for the Singapore bay run as the online system is down on the last day of registration. Oh well, maybe i will be there to photograph and support the runners.

Adirun - IPPT results for 2007

Did not ran yesterday due to my IPPT the next day, but did drop by Suntec as I had a meeting ard the vicinity. Stacy brought another friend down for the run. Shuizhen. Others who are there are michelle, stacy, alvo and meteor . I believe they did a 13km route to marina south and back. I took the opportunity to do 20 laps on the 25m pool upstairs.

As for today I did my IPPT today and for the final time I got GOLD . As per usual. A lesson i learnt to day is not to relay on technology too much. My 2.4km run kinda make me experience it. My timing was not clocked into the RF gantry. I had to raise my hand to inform them every round i make. I think my timing was suppose to be about 9.55 but the result slip put me at 10.05 argghh oh well at least its still GOLD fer me.

Sigh, this could be my final IPPT because I will be MR from reservist from next year.. No more 400 bucks from the gahment..
